TeacherLove is a forum for sharing stories about teachers that have made a difference in your life. Some people tell stories about a life-changing moment in the classroom; others simply talk about a teacher who was especially encouraging. We encourage you to get into as much detail as possible to really bring your story to life! 150 words (approximately) is the minimum, but there is no max!
Check out a few of our favorite contributions below for inspiration:
Dave Eggers wrote about his high school English teacher, Mr. Criche
Kate Kennard wrote about her ballet teacher, Nadine Cole
Michael Tallon wrote about his high school English teacher, Bill Burns
This September, TeacherLove is teaming up with DonorsChoose.org to put dollars into classrooms. The first 50 people to submit their story in the month of September will get a $25 gift certificate to DonorsChoose.org to fund the project of their choice. Give a little love, and get dollars for classrooms! Please note you must include an email address with your submission so that we can contact you with the gift code. One gift card per author.
If you know a teacher who made a difference, we’d love to hear about it!
